Optical cables for backbone communication networks are supplied on wooden drums in accordance with GOST 5151-79, depending on the ordered construction length. Packing drums with wooden plank sheathing in accordance with GOST 18690, which ensures reliable protection of the cable during transportation and storage.

Optical cables for local networks are delivered on plywood drums or in coils, depending on the ordered face-to-face length. Packing plywood drums with polymer mats or technical film provides reliable cable protection..

If there is a “-” sign, then it is not recommended to wind a cable with this diameter on this type of reel, because the bending radius of the cable will be less than 20 cable diameters.
